Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce The function of the frame is aided by top-notch suspensions which are even more sophisticated in this sport version. At front is a powerful Marzocchi Magnum with 50 mm diameter legs with precise customisation of the setting in compression and rebound thanks to a double adjustment: the adjuster on the plug for the hydraulic damping of the rebound is complemented by an adjuster for the hydraulic damping of the compression placed at the foot of the fork.

A bike test is always eventful for one reason or another, but my Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce ride was more so than normal. It all began in the morning when I cocked a leg over the bike and struggled to locate first gear.

Then, pottering through a sleepy French village on the way to the circuit of Ales, the bike simply refused to slip into neutral, forcing me to hold in the heavy clutch as old folk meandered across my path at pedestrian crossings. A quick adjustment to the clutch lever smoothed the problem out and I rumbled onwards, it seemed the Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce’s issues had been imaginary at best and entirely fixable at worst.

The Termignoni exhaust with two underseat silencers, db killer, 3-way catalytic converter and oxygen sensor ensures that the Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce meets Euro 3 emissions standards. Once on the track, riders can remove the db killer and make proper use of the control unit with racing mapping in order to enhance the sound and performance of this impressive piece of Italian engineering.

But if we take a better look at the Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce, it is easy to notice how similar it actually is to its competitor. You get streetfighter headlights and a very small fairing, 17-inch wheels and everything unveiled in between: the Italian V-twin engine and the blacked-out trellis steel tube frame.

I must admit that I like biking a lot. It seems to be quite heavy, however, 196 kg dry. Yet the style is beautiful. It seems to have all the best elements of different bikes out there naked.
