Honda has been in list of sorts in the automatic scooter segment with the Activa being a runaway hit since launch, and later the Actica Dio and Activa Aviator further building on its success.The Honda Activa-i deliver 60kmpl thanks to Honda Eco Technology (HET) that the engine employs.

The Honda Activa-i boasts an underseat storage capacity of 18-litre, a slightly higher ground clearance of 165mm (compared to the Activa’s 153mm) and tips the scale at 103kg. Visually, the new scooter has design influences of the Aviator in front but the new indicators give the scooter a distinct identity.

The new scooter uses the same air-cooled, 109cc mill as in the Honda Activa-i produces 8.15PS @ 7,500rpm and torque figure of 8.74Nm @ 5,500rpm. In a bid to achieve this target, Honda has released the most affordable scooter in its line-up called the Activa-i, priced at Rs 44,200 (ex-showroom Delhi) which is Rs 5000 cheaper than the regular Activa. 

Honda Activa-i also gets almost all the features as in the regular Activa such as Combi Brake System (CBS) which reduces braking distance by 24% compared to conventional brakes, tubeless tyres, maintenance free battery and viscous air filter.
