 I found that my Draggie Dragstar 650 vibrated a bit in top at normal A road speeds of about  however, the engine then seemed to smooth out again when you reach motorway speeds of (or it might just be that you didn't notice the vibration at higher speeds because of the higher revs and wind noise etc.!) I have heard it is possible to cure the vibration by installing a supercharger.

Star doesn’t perform any mind blowing upgrades to the Dragstar 650 Star, but the real question here is if the bike actually needs them. For instance, the cubic-inch, air-cooled degree twin two valves per cylinder engine is the most appropriate one for the specific type of motorcycle and the Dragstar 650 Mikuni carburetors fueling the cylinders do not only stand for good throttle response but for fuel efficiency as well.

 In fact, the Star Dragstar 650 no matter model will go miles with a single gallon of gas. Considering the fact that the fuel tank keeps gallons, gas stops shouldn’t become a reason of worry on this Dragstar 650.I was sorry to see my Draggie Dragstar 650 go as I got a lot of fun out of it, but in the end decided to sell it because my wife was never really happy riding on the pillion seat, which she found too hard.

Although it only develops 40 bhp and is therefore less powerful and fast than the Virago which it replaced it has plenty of low rpm torque but will still do motorway speeds comfortably.
